Linda is the founder of Yardbird Estate Sales. Her educational and previous work background is vast. She has a degree in History which she utilizes in period dating a wide variety items in estate sales. Her work experience has ranged from management, marketing to sales in a variety of business types and an extensive customer service background which directly benefits successfully conducting an estate sale.

It was after working for another estate sale company (which inspired her to start her own company) and shopping many other sales that Linda decided she wanted to bring a new level of service and integrity to the estate sale industry and she believes you will be pleased with that level of attention to detail. Most important of which is she is hands on from the initial consultation through to the end of a sale and present throughout. No levels of corporate bureaucracy or impersonal service. She has a vested interest in the success of your sale. If you don't do well, we do don't do well.

On a personal level, she and Chris have been married for nearly 15 years and reside near O'hare Airport. She is very family oriented, has one adult son, and many nieces and nephews. In her free time, she sews, embroiders, attends car shows, and is involved in giving back to the community.
Chris is a sheet metal worker by trade, and has been in the industry for over 20 years but is transitioning to working estate sales full time.

Besides Chris being our expert on "guy things" such as tools and cars, he has been an avid collector of toys, knives, sports memorabilia, and so on. Additionally, he is a history buff and as such is knowledgeable in some of the odd and unusual items we come across in estate sales we've worked and held.

He also brings to the table a lightheartedness when working estate sales. He loves engaging customers in conversation and is big on upselling.

In addition to being married to Linda, in his free time Chris enjoys attending car shows, and attending charitable events.
Lynn is the matriarch of the family, mother to Linda, and mother-in-law to Chris. She retired after 30 years of police work and has joined her daughter in conducting estate sales.

Lynn is well versed in antiques in addition to being in the process of earning her own appraisal certification to complement the Yardbird business.

Lynn stays busy not just with the business but with many other activities such as crafting, car shows and spending time with her other daughter and three grandchildren. She has even written and published THREE books! One of which is called "Yardbird" that consists of correspondence from her father who referred to himself as a Yardbird while serving in World War II. She also donates her time giving back to the community by attending charitable events and helping out with local organizations. She is one grandma always on the move!
